Dr. Erin Diamantakis grew up in Shoreham, New York and was an Orthodontic patient of Drs. Goldman, Taynor, Sabo & Rienecker as a child. Becoming passionate about the field early on, Dr. Erin began Orthodontic assisting at the practice as a teenager until she started dental school 5 years later. She completed her undergraduate degree in Spanish on full scholarship at SUNY Stony Brook and received her doctorate degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She then returned to New York and completed a general-practice residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. After her GPR, she worked as a general dentist and then completed her Orthodontic residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. Dr. Erin is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the New York State Dental Society, the Suffolk County Dental Society, and continues to pursue professional development activities including monthly study clubs and continuing education conferences.
